Private Paul Meakin served with Airborne Forces from the late 1970s to 1990s.Paul Meakin joined Airborne Forces in 1979 with The 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment (2 PARA).
During his Airborne career, he served in the Falklands, in Northern Ireland. Leaving 2 PARA in 1991, he went on to serve two years with the Red Devils, and remained in the services, deploying to Kosovo in 1999.
