James 'Tiny' Collier served with Airborne Forces during the Second World War.James Alfred Thomas Collier, nicknamed 'Tiny', joined special services from the Rifle Brigade. 'Tiny' completed Parachute Course 77 at RAF Ringway in mid-August 1943, and joined 1 Special Air Service.

Lance Corporal Collier died in 1989.
