Lieutenant Edward Francis Knox, son of Col Ernest Francis Knox and Margaret Muriel Dallas Knox, of Moccas, Herefordshire, served with 3rd Parachute Squadron and was attached to HQ 6th Airborne Division.He took part in the Ardennes offensive and died on 13 January 1945, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Hotton War Cemetery, Luxembourg.
