Brian Wilde was the son of Richard and Anne Wilde, of Thorpe Mandeville, Northamptonshire.Driver Wilde served with HQ 6th Airborne Divisional Column RASC 

He was killed on 2 July 1947 and is now buried in Khayat Beach War Cemetery, Israel.
