Private Victor George Alford, son of Arthur George Norman and Alice Maud Alford, of Exeter, served with 3rd Parachute Battalion and took part in the North African campaign.Private Alford died on 8 March 1943, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at Tabarka Ras Rajel War Cemetery, Tunisia.
