The 2nd Independent Parachute Brigade Composite Company was originally intended as a 2nd Parachute Brigade Transport Platoon and 3 Officers and 90 OR’s transferred in from 93 Coy from North Africa. 10 further OR’s(air crew specialists) transferred in from 250 Coy at the same time.

Comprised of a HQ, Transport Platoon, Composite Platoon and Workshops Platoon the unit was equipped with 36 3-Ton lorries, 10 Motorcycles, 2 jeeps with trailers, a 2 seater car, a standard 15Cwt Truck and 15Cwt Water Truck, and Breakdown vehicle.

The designation officially changed to 2^nd Independent Parachute Brigade Composite Company RASC in early December 1943. It is believed, that the designation of the unit subsequently changed, to 751 Para Bde Composite Company RASC.
