Airborne Assault MuseumEditor's Note: The family believe the photo was taken in Aberdeen. Sgt Parker is known to have attended Ringway for parachute training in November 1944. It is believed that he was posted to 1st Airborne Div Sigs after the parachute course. He was also later deployed with 6th Airborne Division Signals for Operation Varsity. This suggests the photo was taken between December 1944 and February 1945.
