Airborne Assault MuseumA Jeep and 6 Pounder Anti-Tank gun stowed under a Halifax bomber for a heavy drop trial by the Airborne Forces Experimental Establishment. Each piece was dropped under four 60 ft parachutes. The Jeep hit the ground at forty feet per second and was extensively damaged.
