Private Thomas Barry (red gloves), 25, Anti Tank Platoon, 3rd Battalion The Parachute Regiment, takes the fight to his opponent Rfn Mathieson and wins. 3 PARA won the semi-final 6-3.

At the final against 22 Engineer Regiment on 29 March 2012 in Aldershot, 3 PARA went on to win 8-1.

3 PARA has won the competition every time it has entered since 2003. The unit did not compete in 2006, 2008 or 2011 because it was on operations in Afghanistan.
