Airborne Assault MuseumOn Friday 25 March 1994, a delegation from 9th Parachute Battalion Reunion Club presented a handmade terrestrial globe to Ranville Primary School, Normandy, in memory of Major Charles Strafford MBE.
Monsieur Georges Bouily, Mayor of Ranville, attended the ceremony with the Deputy Mayor. The globe was presented to the Principal of the School at the time, Mme Lehoux.
