Airborne Assault MuseumMarch 24th. The RAF tow the Airborne Army across the Rhine. Picture received in London on March 24th was taken during the Allied Airborne Armys journey to the east bank of teh Rhine earlier in the day. Horsa and Hamilcar gliders were towed by RAF Halifax and Stirling aircraft.
