During the course potential recruits are given a talk on opportunities available to a serving paratrooper once he has passed Pegasus Company (P Coy) and joined a battalion. It covers current training and roles within the regiment.

Potential recruits also watch footage of The Parachute Regiment in action on recent operations, with the instructors explaining situations and sharing their some of their own experiences.
