The rails contain wartime smocks, from the original Windak design, through to the 2 wartime types, followed by post war and 59 patterns, through to smock camouflage of the 1970s.  Each smock is hung on a padded Tyvek hanger and has its own cover.  Labels are added in the same location on each cover to make identification easier.  Each rail is not overloaded and there is adequate space between each smock to aid with conservation.
