William Walker was parachute jump trained at RAF Ringway on Course 13, which ran from 4 to 21 May 1942.
The course lists him as being a Cpl. in The 16th Para Field Ambulance RAMC.
On the manifest for Op. Dragoon he is listed as 4 Para Bn, A Coy, Medical Section.
