Bill was born in 1932, enlisted in the RAF for national service 1950-2 and then joined the Army in 1953.
He was commissioned into PARA 1968 (SRC) and promoted to Major in 1978, serving then in Berlin with 2 PARA as OC D Coy. He retired in 1981 and was appointed Admin Officer in HQ 4 PARA in Pudsey.
Bill sadly died 25 December 2022. He leaves behind his wife Janet.
