Lance Corporal Victor A Apted

Lance Corporal Victor Arthur Apted was the son of Arthur Apted and Emily Rebecca Apted, of Withdean, Sussex. He served with 5th (Scottish) Parachute Battalion and took part in the Italian campaign in Winter 1943.

Lance Corporal Apted died on 23 December 1943, aged 27 years old. He is now buried at Sangro River War Cemetery, near Taranto.
