Private Thomas Alfred Harries was the son of Thomas and Florance Harries, of Llanelli, and husband of Irene Harries, also of Llanelli. He served with 4th Platoon, B Company, 13th (South Lancs) Parachute Battalion.
Private Harries died in the UK on 19 July 1945, aged 22 years old. His now buried at Box Cemetery, Llanelli.
