Sergeant Sydney Power served as the Platoon Sergeant of 2 Platoon, A Company with 2nd Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden,
Sergeant Power died during the Battle between 21-25 September 1944, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
