Stuart Weddell joined The Parachute Regiment in 1982 and after completing P Company, served with A Company, Anti Tank and Recruit Wing of 15 PARA (SV).
Whilst with 15 PARA (SV) he was promoted to platoon sergeant before joining 23 SAS.
