Sergeant Stanley Nelson Higginson, son of Charles and Alice Amelia Higginson, of Mitcham, Surrey, served with 12th (Airborne) Battalion, Devonshire Regiment. He took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.
Sergeant Higginson died on 24 March 1945, aged 26 years old. He is now buried at Venray War Cemetery, Limburg in Holland.
