Signalman Richard James Fone served with 6 Airborne Divisional Signals, and took part in the D Day landings in Normandy in June 1944.
Sigmn Fone was killed on 7 June 1944, aged 20. He is now buried in Ranville Churchyard, near to the War Cemetery, Normandy.
