Peter Mullins commented
‘To this day I so enjoy the comradeship shown when meeting ex-Paras and existing servicemen. Only recently at Birmingham Airport I stopped and spoke to a young Para who was on a spot of leave and had served in Iraq and Afghanistan, after I left him I spent a few minutes in duty free before returning to my wife and youngest daughter at our table, only to find this young men waiting there with them with four glasses of port on a tray, we drank each other’s health. It does not get much better than that.’
