Mark 'Taffy' Ginsberg, was involved with Op. Biting as a member of 181 A/L Field Ambulance RAMC. He is listed as being stationed in the sick bay, with Pte E England possibly on MV Prins Albert. A former Beligian ship used for treating the injured after the raid. These men were commanded by Lt A S Baker.
The 181 was based at Chilton Foliat in Berkshire and together with the men from C Coy, the nominated section moved north to Inveraray in Scotland for specialist training.
On 13 January 1945 Mark was commissioned as a 2nd Lt and at some point, either before or after the war changed his name to Mark Glenn-Hill.
