Private Lloyd Peter Ball served with 3rd Parachute Battalion and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
Private Ball died on 18 September 1944, aged 19 years old. He is now commemorated on the Memorial at Groesbeek Canadian War Cemetery, near Nijmegen.
