Private Lawrence Lennard was the son of John and Emily Lennard, and husband of Edith Lennard, of Radcliffe, Lancashire. He served with HQ 3rd Parachute Brigade, and took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.
Private Lennard died on 24 March 1945, aged 34 years old. He is now buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Kleve, Germany.
