Private Kenneth Vincent, son of Harry and Florence May Vincent, of Barnstaple, Dorset, served with 7th (Light Infantry) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy, during Op Overlord.
Private Vincent died on 7 June 1944, aged 22 years old. He is now buried at Hermanville War Cemetery, Hermanville-sur-Mer, Normandy.
