Private Kenneth Rhymes, son of Walter Thomas and Cora Annie Rhymes, of Golders Green, Middlesex, served with 11th Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.
He died on 21 September 1944, aged 20 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
