Guardsman Joseph Gerald Dickson served with the 1st (Guards) Independent Company.
Gdsn Dickson died in a road traffic accident in the UK on 12 June 1955, aged 28 years. He was buried with military honours at Brookwood Cemetery.
In the October 1955 issue of the Pegasus Journal it shows ’Gdsn Dickson was a quiet and unassuming man with a pleasant sense of humour who will be much missed in the Company.’
