Corporal John H W Rothwell

Corporal John Hubert W Rothwell, son of William and Rachel Rothwell, of Manchester, joined Airborne Forces in 1944. He completed Parachute Course 121 at RAF Ringway in early July 1944, and was subsequently posted to 12th (Yorks) Parachute Battalion.

Corporal Rothwell died in the UK on 20 March 1945, aged 28 years old. He is now buried at Brookwood Military Cemetery, Surrey.
