James A Pullen was initially attached to the Royal Fusiliers Army, before volunteering to join the Parachute Regiment.
Documentation shows he was 9 Section, 11th Platoon, C Company, 4th Parachute Battalion, 2 Para Brigade Group. His commanding Officers were, LT Col Cox, Lt Col De. Vere Martin. James served in operations in Greece and Palestine
