Private James E Large

Private James Edward Large was the son of Thomas and Mary Ann Large, and husband of Edith Ethel Large, of Sproughton, Suffolk. He served with 12th (Yorks) Parachute Battalion (formerly the 10th Battalion, The Green Howards). He took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.

Private Large died on 3 April 1945, aged 31 years old. He is now buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Kleve, Germany.
