Lance Corporal James Barrie Diamond, son of Maggie Diamond, of Stirling, served with 2nd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.
He died on 30 November 1942, aged 34 years old. He now commemorated on the Memorial at Medjez-El-Bab War Cemetery, Tunisia.
