Private Herbert Richard Kerry, son of Herbert and Gertrude Kerry, of Langwith, Nottinghamshire, served with the Army Catering Corps. He was attached to 3rd Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers and took part in the Normandy campaign.
He died on 10 August 1944, aged 25 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
