Private Harry Allcock was the son of Harry and Alexandra May Allcock, of Stoke-on-Trent, and the nephew of Mrs L M Wright, of Meir, Stoke-on-Trent. He served with 22nd Independent Parachute Company (Pathfinders) and served in Normandy, following the D-Day landings in June 1944.
Private Allcock died on 21 June 1944, aged just 18 years old. He is now buried at Ranville War Cemetery, Normandy.
