Lance Corporal H Keith Emmerson served with the Coldstream Guards. He joined the Guards in 1959 and served a year, including a deployment to Kenya.
From here, he went on to transfer to No 1 Guards Independent Parachute Company in 1960 and served a further two years.
He remains active in the veterans community, as part of Guards Parachute Association.
