Private George McDonald, son of Donald and Catherine McDonald, of Fallside, Lanarkshire, served with 2nd Parachute Battalion. He took part in the North African campaign, during Op Torch.
He died on 14 March 1943, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Tabarka War Cemetery, Tunisia
