Sergeant George Henry Bryan was the son of George Henry and Elizabeth Bryan, and husband of Edith Mabel Bryan, of Hatherley, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. He served with 8th (Midlands) Parachute Battalion and took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.
Sergeant Bryan died on 24 March 1945, aged 32 years old. He is now buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Kleve, Germany.
