Trooper Frederick W Chilton

Trooper Frederick William Chilton, son of Alfred William and Ada Chilton, of Dagenham, Essex served with 11 Section D Troop 1st Airborne Recce Squadron, Reconnaissance Corps. He took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

Trooper Chilton died on 18 September 1944, 22 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
