Frederick David Clewlow (known as David), enlisted into The Staffordshire Regiment before volunteering for airbonre forces.
He undertook parachute jump course 364 at RAF Abingdon in October 1953.
Private Clewlow served with 3 PARA in Cyprus and Suez.
