Clive Quinton Morris enlisted into the Coldstream Guards during The Second World War and volunteered for airborne forces in 1948.
Sgt Morris qualified as a military parachutist on Course 233 which ran at RAF Upper Heyford from 19 January to 27 February 1948. He was posted to Airborne Forces Depot at Maida Barracks Aldershot before being posted to No 1 (Guards) Independent Company.
