Staff Sergeant Christopher Bruce Robinson served with C Squadron, Glider Pilot Regiment and took part in the D-Day landings to Normandy on 5-6 June 1944.
He was first pilot in a Hamilcar glider, flying a Tetrach Light tank into Landing Zone N.
SSgt Robinson died on 6 June 1944, aged 28 years old. He is now buried at Ranville Churchyard, near the War Cemetery, in Normandy.
