Chris M Davies MBE served for 19 years with the Royal Engineers and retired as a Colonel. He was a Troop Commander of 9 Indep Para Squadron RE in 1972-4 and later served as OC of 9 Para Sqn in the early 1980s, serving in the Falklands.
