Corporal Charles T G Harris

Corporal Charles Thomas George Harris was the son of Charles Thomas and Edith Harris, and husband of Lottie Harris, of Southwell, Nottinghamshire. He served with 22nd Independent (Pathfinders) Parachute Company and took part in the Normandy campaign, during Op Overlord. Records indicate he was successfully parachute jump trained at Chaklala, on Course 29. 

Corporal Harris died on 26 August 1944, aged 24 years old. He is now buried at St Germain-Village Churchyard, Pont-Audemer, Normandy.
