Bronislaw Zolyniak served with the Signals Company of 1st Polish Independent Parachute Brigade Group and fought at the Battle of Arnhem.
He died on 23 September 1944, aged 21 years, and was given a field burial near Bronbeek, Velperweg, Arnhem. He was later reburied at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
