Brian 'Manny' Mercer enlisted in the Army in 1957.
He successfully passed training at the Parachute Regiment and Airborne Forces Depot in Platoon 139.
'Manny' Mercer was posted to C Coy, 2 PARA and almost immediately deployed to Jordan.
Sadly, Manny passed away in January 2011
