Major Brian G Mullin

I was educated at Brighton College and RMA Sandhurst and then commissioned into The Royal Irish Fusiliers. I served with 2 PARA on attachment from Royal Irish Fusiliers, from 1959 to 1962, including Cyprus under Lt Cols Dennis Beckett and Frank King.

After transfer to the Royal Army Pay Corps, I served as Paymaster to 7 RHA under Lt Cols Tony Richardson and Tim Streatfield.

A keen target rifle shot, I represented the Army and Combined Services. I became Adjutant of the Army and Combined Services Vllls when Larry Orpen-Smellie was the Captain of both and finished 9th out of 1500 in the Queen's Prize at the Imperial Meeting at Bisley in 1973.

I retired from the Army in 1974 and have since resided in South Africa since 1975, working as a Management Accountant with a number of large companies, specialising in Management Information Systems.
