Sergeant Arthur B Ellis

Sergeant Arthur Bruce Ellis was the son of Arthur Bruce and Lilian Agnes Ellis, and husband of Evalyn Nella Ellis, of Whetstone, Middlesex. He served with 2nd (Airborne) Battalion, South Staffordshire Regiment and took part in the Battle of Arnhem, during Op Market Garden.

He died of wounds on 28 September 1944, aged 23 years old. He is now buried at Oosterbeek War Cemetery, Arnhem.
