Bombardier Angus Graham

Angus Graham, son of Hugh and Annie Graham, of Oban, Argyllshire, enlisted in the Royal Artillery and volunteered for airborne forces.

Bombadier Graham successfully completed his glider training and was posted to G Troop, 2nd (Oban) Airlanding Anti-Tank Battery, Royal Artillery, and took part in Operation Market Garden (Arnhem).

Bdr Graham was killed in action, aged 23, on 21 September 1944 and was given a field burial in an isolated group of graves behind the Paasberg school, Oosterbeek, and was re-interred to Arnhem Oosterbeek War Cemetery on 10 September 1945.
