Staff Sergeant Andrew J Beeby

Andrew John Beeby enlisted into The Parachute regiment in Southampton in August 1971.

Whilst serving with A Company (Coy), C Coy and Signal Platoon, Support Coy, The 3rd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment (3 PARA), he served five tours in Northern Ireland on Operation Banner and in Cyprus, Germany, Singapore, Italy, Norway, Sudan and Canada.

In 1984 he transferred to the Royal Army Ordnance Corps and served with them for nine years until transferring to the The Royal Logistic Corps (RLC).

Staff Sergeant Beeby retired from RLC in December 1994 after a military career of over 23 years.
