Sergeant Andrew J B Gerard-Smith

Sergeant Andrew John Bruce Gerard-Smith, son of Mrs Gerard-Smith, Kemerton, Tewkesbury, served with 12th (Yorkshire) Parachute Battalion. He took part in the Rhine Crossing, during Op Varsity.

Sergeant Gerard-Smith died on 3 April 1945, aged 21 years old. He is now buried at Reichswald Forest War Cemetery, Kleve, in Germany.
